Two weeks ago I had a wonderful foodie girl's night at VEA Restaurant & Lounge. Being one of my top fine-dining restaurants in Hong Kong, this place has never let me down. We were seated along the long curvy bar counter, guests had an eye-opening view of what's going on in the kitchen and how the team had taken extra attention and effort to prepare the perfect dish for you.
This time we went for the Tasting Menu paired with Cocktails designed by Antonio Lai, Executive Mixologist of VEA Lounge. The cuisine is a artfully crafted French plates combined with seasonal flavors and Chef VIcky Cheng's special heritage influence from Asia. Beside the amazing atmosphere, each dish is meticulously designed and I have to say I love every single one. My favorite dish this time is the seasonal pick: Charcoal grilled Sicilian Red Prawn with Hokkaido Sea Urchin. 2nd favorite dish is the "Taiyouran Egg", which is composed of Egg, Triffle, Parmesan and Caviar.
We were treated with excellent service and all-in-all we had such a wonderful dining experience.
